These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our wedding vendor matchmaking platform, where wedding vendors (“Vendors”) and wedding clients (“Clients,” including brides, grooms, and wedding planners) connect through our exclusive boutique service. By using our platform, you agree to abide by these terms.
1. Definitions
“The Platform” refers to the matchmaking service provided by Plan My Desi Wedding.
“Vendor” refers to a business or service provider (e.g., photographer, videographer, decorator, makeup artist) using the platform to connect with Clients.
“Client” refers to a bride, groom, or wedding planner seeking to hire Vendors through the platform.
“Lead” refers to a Client inquiry that has been shared with a Vendor for potential booking.
“Match” refers to the process of pairing a Vendor with a potential Client based on their wedding requirements.
“Service” refers to all activities, interactions, and transactions conducted through The South Asian Wedding Inner Circle’s matchmaking platform.
2. Platform Overview
2.1 - For Clients (Brides, Grooms & Wedding Planners)
Clients can submit wedding details and receive curated Vendor matches.
Clients do not pay to receive Vendor matches.
Clients are not obligated to book any Vendor and may request additional details before making a decision.
Clients acknowledge that Vendors may offer introductory discounts to secure their first South Asian wedding booking.
2.2 - For Vendors (Service Providers)
Vendors apply to be part of the Platform and must provide accurate business details, pricing, and services.
Vendors agree to a one-time onboarding process, which may include an introduction to South Asian wedding traditions.
Vendors set their own standard pricing and optional introductory discounts for their first South Asian wedding clients.
Vendors receive anonymized lead details for free and can choose to purchase the full lead details.
Vendors must pay a fee per lead before receiving full Client contact information.
The Platform does not guarantee bookings—leads are browsing, but not guaranteed to hire.
3. Payment & Fees
Vendors only pay per lead when they choose to unlock Client contact details.
Payment must be made through the Platform by credit card or Stripe
No refunds will be issued once lead details have been shared, except in cases of fraudulent or inaccurate information.
The Platform does not take a commission on bookings—Clients and Vendors negotiate pricing independently.
4. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors must provide accurate business details, pricing, and availability.
Vendors must honor any agreed-upon discount when booking a Client through the Platform.
Vendors must not misrepresent services, engage in unethical business practices, or use the Platform for unauthorized purposes.
Vendors are responsible for all transactions, contracts, and services provided to Clients after the lead connection.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate wedding details and budget expectations.
Clients must act in good faith and only request Vendor details when genuinely considering booking a service.
Clients must communicate professionally and fairly with Vendors.
The Platform is not responsible for disputes, cancellations, or refund policies between Clients and Vendors.
6. Platform Limitations & Disclaimers
The Platform is a matchmaking service and does not guarantee bookings.
The Platform does not vet Vendors beyond basic application criteria. Clients must conduct their own due diligence before booking.
The Platform is not liable for any issues arising from Vendor-Client transactions, including service disputes, cancellations, or misrepresentations.
The Platform reserves the right to suspend or remove any Vendor or Client engaging in fraud, unethical behavior, or violations of these terms.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
For Clients: No fees are charged to Clients, so cancellations have no financial impact.
For Vendors: Once a lead has been purchased, no refunds are issued unless the lead is deemed fraudulent or inaccurate.
If a Vendor wishes to dispute a lead charge, they must submit a refund request within 24 hours of receiving the lead details.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
The Platform will not share personal Client or Vendor information outside of the matchmaking process.
Vendors will only receive Client contact details after purchasing a lead.
All data is stored securely, and we do not sell or distribute personal information.
9. Changes to Terms
The Platform reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
Vendors and Clients will be notified of any significant changes via email or website updates.
Continued use of the Platform after changes indicates agreement with updated terms.
